Coldplay e A-Ha se unem para ajudar tribos da Amazônia

O baixista do Coldplay, Guy Berryman, convidou Magne Furuholmen para lançar um projeto paralelo.

O nome do projeto é Apparatjik e ele foi formado com um objetivo específico: gravar uma canção para uma série de televisão da rede BBC dedicada a tribos da Amazônia. A música chama-se "Ferreting" e também tem participação de Jonas Bjerre, da banda Mew.

A faixa será incluída em uma coletânea chamada Songs for Survival, que terá a sua renda revertida para organizações que ajudam essas tribos. Seu lançamento está marcado para dia 6 de outubro. KT Tunstall e will.i.am também estaraão presentes na coletânea.

A amizade entre o Coldplay e A-ha é antiga, em seu disco solo, Mags contou com a presença dos músicos como convidados e em muitas entrevistas o vocalista do Coldplay declarou ser fã do A-ha.
